The Vacancy
5 hours per week (1 hour per day, term time only, 12.15pm – 1.15pm)
Oakfield Primary School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic lunchtime supervisor to work as part of our existing team within a happy, busy lunchtime environment.
The successful candidate should have a flexible approach and will be confident in delivering a high level of support to our children over the lunchtime period.
Applicants should be well organised, have a good communication skills and able to work as part of a team of lunchtime supervisors.
The role and duties will include:
– Supporting children with their mid-day meal,
– Organising and delivering play activities on the playground,
– Caring for the children\’s health and well-being,
– Supervising a class when it is a wet playtime.
Applicants should:
– Possess a natural affinity with children,
– Be positive in their approach and have a calm and caring nature,
– Have a basic understanding of food hygiene,
– Have a basic understanding of first aid,
– Have a basic understanding of health and safety.
