As a Principal People Scientist at Workvivo, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping organizations uncover the real story behind employee engagement, culture, and performance. You’ll lead high-impact consulting engagements with our customers, using your expertise in organizational psychology and data storytelling to design and deliver actionable employee listening strategies. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of our growing Employee Insights offering. Creating meaningful impact across diverse client organizations, while contributing to the evolution of our product, methodologies, and thought leadership. About the Team

As part of the Zoom family, we bring together the agility of a startup with the reach of a global technology leader. You’ll be joining the Services team, led by Head of Services. This team is dedicated to partnering with customers to translate insights into action and create better work experiences. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, data science, customer success, marketing, and sales. Collaborating to evolve our approach to employee listening and people analytics.
Responsibilities

Designing and implementing employee listening strategies across onboarding, engagement, DEI, and lifecycle touchpoints using Workvivo Employee Insights

Leading strategic consulting engagements, from discovery and diagnosis to executive reporting and action planning

Advising clients on best practices in employee experience, behavioral science, and organizational effectiveness

Creating compelling, executive-ready presentations that highlight key insights, trends, and recommendations

Collaborating with internal teams to enhance survey design, benchmarks, and insight reporting within the core product

Developing scalable frameworks and methodologies (e.g., drivers of engagement, predictive models, ROI models)

Contributing to content development including case studies, customer playbooks, and white papers

Mentoring team members and act as a subject matter expert on people science and analytics within the organization
What we’re looking for

Bring 10+ years of experience in organizational psychology, people analytics, employee engagement, or a related field

Hold a Master’s or PhD in Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Science, HR Analytics, or similar discipline

Demonstrate success in consulting or advisory roles, ideally in SaaS or HR tech environments

Leverage expertise in employee survey platforms such as Qualtrics, Glint, Culture Amp, Peakon, or Medallia

Apply statistical techniques (e.g., regression, factor analysis) using tools like SPSS, R, Python, or Excel

Communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences and influence executive stakeholders with confidence

Showcase high emotional intelligence and empathy when interpreting and delivering sensitive feedback

Excel in fast-paced, evolving environments and thrive in customer-facing, C-suite interactions
