We help clients understand trends in technology, finance, policy, and economics shaping the energy sector. Our team of 300 staff across 20 offices provides insights to navigate change and identify opportunities.
We seek a dedicated individual to lead our Europe research team in London. The role involves producing primary research on Europe\’s transition to a low-carbon economy, managing a team of analysts, and contributing to BNEF\’s strategic direction and regional reports.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring the research team
- Overseeing research outputs and pipeline
- Contributing to business strategy and research agenda for Europe
- Delivering analysis on policy, technology, and finance impacts on Europe\’s energy outlook
- Producing long-term energy scenarios for Europe
- Contributing to global reports and regional spin-offs
- Writing and editing research to maintain high quality standards
- Representing BNEF at industry events and in media
- Supporting client engagement and business development
- Building networks with energy transition partners across Europe
Requirements:
- Broad understanding of the energy industry with a focus on Europe
