We are looking for an experienced Team leader to join our supported living team in Nuneaton CV11 As a Team Leader you will be supportinga female resident with complex needs in her own home. The role may include manual handling, medication administration, personal care, food preparation, household tasks, supporting her to keep in contact with family and friends, accessing the community and attending appointments. We provide support for daily living skills and help support with socialisation.providing specialised person centred support. Radis recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is tailored to their specific needs and provide a consistent approach throughout their life. You will be supporting a lady within her own home, with various shift times. You will also need to attend the registered office once a week in Coventry. The people we support, may on occasion, display behaviours that are challenging and some of these could be physical in nature. To work alongside the Managers of our Supported Living Services- overseeing the smooth running of these services, completing regular audits, checks, supervisions, spot checks, updating and reviewing support plans and working to ensure that individuals achieve their outcomes. The role will require you to schedule / allocate work to the Support Workers, support with medication, personal care tasks and covering shifts within the services. You will be required to take part in the on call system. At this present time, we are unable to consider Sponsorship for this role Skills and Qualifications required for the role: Previous experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, autism and mental health issues Previous experience as a Team Leader/ Senior Support worker will be advantageous. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and have a willingness to learn in line with clients needs and expectations. Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
