We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated sales professional to manage our sales region. This role involves selling to and supporting both end users and channel partners, leveraging all routes to market. The Sales Executive will sell our leading Identity Management solutions by understanding the client\’s business, industry, and IT initiatives, identifying needs, developing compelling proposals, and closing sales. Building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and key buyers within accounts and partners is crucial.

Responsibilities:

  • Exceed revenue quota goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Address each customer\’s and partner\’s inquiries with proper information and solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Develop business plans aligned with geographic and business needs.
  • Engage with business partners when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute marketing plans with end users and partners.
  • Follow up on all leads and ensure internal systems are updated.
  • Lead technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint’s advantages to customers.
  • Coordinate with post-sale account managers for ongoing account coverage and new sales opportunities.
  • Understand and work through all sales cycle stages, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and closing.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the territory, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors.
  • Stay informed about product and technological strategies of competitors and complementary organizations.
  • Ensure high customer and partner satisfaction within your territory.
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude aligned with company core values.
  • Coordinate sales support with Technical Sales staff.
  • Create and manage conversations at all organizational levels, from CEOs to Systems Administrators.
  • Utilize channel management and reporting tools effectively.

Qualifications:

Preferred education: Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent in IT, business, or sales-related field.

Travel: Approximately 50% business travel expected annually.

Experience: At least 7 years in B2B sales, with 3 years in Identity Management or Security industries; proven results in quota-driven environments; strong negotiation and communication skills; experience presenting to C-Level executives.
