A calm and approachable manner is essential, along with the ability to work independently and confidently use basic IT systems.

What you\’ll do:

As a School Crossing Patrol, you’ll take on a vital role in your community – helping children and families cross the road safely during busy school run times. You’ll be a calm and reassuring presence at designated crossing points, ensuring pedestrians are protected and traffic is managed with care and confidence. Your role is essential in making sure children and other pedestrians can travel to and from school safely.

This position involves working 10 hours per week during school term time, typically one hour in the morning and one in the afternoon. You’ll be provided with a uniform to keep you protected in all weather conditions, and you’ll be part of a valued team making a real difference every day.
