Benefits
- £500 welcome bonus paid on completion of your probationary period
- Double time on bank holidays and an extra £1 per hour on weekends
- 1 hour pay for every 20 miles travelled plus 45p for every mile
- Company Sick Pay, increasing with length of service
- Equivalent to 30 days of paid annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), increasing to 33 after 5 years of service (pro‑rata)
About the Role
- Providing personal care and support in clients’ own homes, including washing, dressing, food preparation, etc.
- Administering medication in line with a client’s care plan – full training will be provided.
- Ensuring that all documentation is promptly maintained and recorded.
- Supporting clients to enjoy life and remain as independent as possible, for as long as possible.
- Supported by a friendly and passionate office team that are there to help whenever you need them.
- Shifts:
- Either 07:00 – 14:30 or 16:00 – 22:00
- Or 07:00 – 14:30 & 16:00 – 22:00 as a split shift
About You
- A naturally kind, patient and compassionate person, able to put a smile on clients’ faces.
- Time‑keeping skills are paramount; clients rely on you to keep appointments and complete tasks.
- A driving licence and your own vehicle are essential, as we support clients across a wide area.
- No previous experience or qualifications are required – comprehensive paid training, shadowing and support will be provided.

About Us
Our Somerset Community team covers Bridgwater, Highbridge, Burnham‑On‑Sea, Cheddar and surrounding areas with teams based in each area. The team is passionate about supporting clients to remain independent within their own homes.
