About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Agile Development Team within our Applications Management Group as a Technical Business Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract or secondment.
The role will support the implementation of our Families First Partnerships as part of the Social Care Reform Act and to support any systems change requirements resulting from legislative requirements.
You will bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that IT systems align with the business objectives and contribute to ongoing service improvements.
As part of this role, you will work closely with colleagues within Children and Families Services and the wider ICT Teams to analyse business needs arising from these changes and define requirements. You will also work with local authority partners and external agencies to support the delivery of the technical solutions. Recent knowledge and understanding of working within Children and Families Services would be advantageous.
About You
To apply for this post, you will be expected:
- To lead in the oversight and technical development of changes to systems, processes, and integrations to identify, document, and validate business requirements to formulate projects and workstreams to deliver the required changes in line with LCC strategy and policy.
- To have a strong technical background that will support and deliver the changes required, working with technical teams to design and develop ICT solutions that meet the identified needs, including overseeing the development of the systems/reporting tools and quality reports for work enhancements and upgrades.
- Support implementations by creating technical requirements documents, ensuring appropriate work packages are provided to technical delivery teams, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing with relevant customers and stakeholders.
- To plan and provide updates on a regular basis within associated service areas, including requirement gathering, chairing workshops, and reporting findings back to the team, to support the delivery of tasks and processes effectively and efficiently across the service areas.
- To work with and liaise confidently with a range of internal and external agencies, partners, and authorities to facilitate effective collaboration and combined delivery of requirements.
- To have a good technical understanding and experience of line of business systems, such as Mosaic, Synergy, Core+, Granicus, Abavus, and the Microsoft Power Platform Suite (including Forms, Bookings, PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate).
- It is vital that the post holder is flexible and able to work as part of a team, supporting and working with a wide range of colleagues.
