Overview
Our client, a well-regarded Scottish law firm, is currently recruiting for two Solicitors to join its Rural Business team within the Real Estate practice. These are full-time, permanent positions based in Aberdeen and offer an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading team with high-quality clients and strong long-term progression prospects.
Experience / PQE
There are roles available at both NQ–3 years’ PQE and 4+ years’ PQE levels. The team advises on a broad range of rural property matters, including the purchase and sale of estates, farms, forestry, and other rural land. Candidates with an interest in renewable energy developments and agricultural holdings will find the work especially rewarding, as the firm continues to invest and grow this area of the practice.
Responsibilities
- Advise on rural land transactions, agricultural holdings and tenancies (both contentious and non-contentious)
- Assist with a range of letting arrangements
- Address title queries (Sasines and Land Registered titles)
- Provide ongoing management advice to estate and rural business clients
- Regularly advise on rural and residential development projects, offering variety and challenge
Qualifications / What we\\\’re looking for
Applicants should demonstrate a genuine interest in the rural sector, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage transactions effectively. For the more senior role, experience working independently and delivering tailored, high-quality client service will be essential.
