Exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled e-commerce group at a time of growth and development. Reporting to the Head of Finance working in a small highly skilled team. Duties will include:-

Responsibility of the Assistant Accountant Role-

  • Assist the Head of Finance with the month end close
  • Work closely with accounts payable and receivable
  • Bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Balance sheet review and reconciliation
  • Assist with the monthly management accounts
  • Assist with the year end
  • Quarterly VAT returns

Requirement of the Assistant Accountant Role:-

  • Ideally studying towards ACCA or CIMA qualification
  • Strong Excel and systems skills
  • Good training and grounding in double entry bookkeeping
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Articulate and confident
  • Perfect role for someone making a first move from practice
