We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager to support our Rotating Day Shift at our Screwfix Stafford Distribution Centre (ST16 1GY)
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00 – 14:00 – 22:00
How will you contribute?
• Responsibility for all issues relating to Health & Safety and the Environment during shift
• Support colleagues through excellent communication and active leadership
• Ensure co-ordination and handover management between shifts
• Translate, analyse and deliver customer needs through effective operations
• Ensure resource availability and skilled trained resource
• Deliver consistent service levels seeking to exceed customer expectations
• Effective leadership, management and communication with all warehouse departments
• Responsible for ensuring high levels of excellence in culture and behaviours
• Display a ‘can do’ attitude to enhance motivation of team
• Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP\’s)
• Engage with and treat employees with respect and promote diversity
• Recognise and proactively manage continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure all internal / external KPI’s are achieved and regularly reviewed

• Operational Experience
• Excellent organisational/time management skills
• People Management including experience of disciplinary investigations and other people processes
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Use of Microsoft Packages including Excel and Word
• Work within a team and able to interact at all levels
