Salary: £50,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About the Organisation
We are working with a globally recognised professional membership organisation to appoint a Product Manager to lead the development of a new digital content and publishing platform. The organisation plays a central role in setting professional standards and supporting its international membership through high-quality training, insight, and content.
This role is focused on the strategic development and delivery of a new version of their flagship digital publication — a platform that showcases thought leadership, professional insight, and external contributions to a global audience of practitioners and partners.
The Opportunity
As Product Manager , you will take full ownership of a new editorial-led digital publishing product under an established brand. Your task will be to define and deliver the platform’s vision, content structure, user experience, and operational performance.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a modern, content-rich product that serves both the organisation’s professional members and external commercial stakeholders.
You’ll work across content, comms, marketing, and technical teams to unify fragmented content streams, build out a scalable publishing model, and ensure that editorial standards and commercial value are balanced effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and launch of a new digital publishing platform.
- Define content structure, navigation, and thematic organisation for a broad professional audience.
- Oversee the consolidation and migration of content across existing platforms and sources.
- Develop a publishing framework that allows both internal and external contributors to engage consistently and effectively.
- Build a metrics-led performance model for the platform (e.g. traffic, engagement, partner visibility).
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including marketing, editorial, design, and digital delivery teams.
- Align the platform with wider organisational priorities around thought leadership, content quality, and member engagement.
- Manage the project roadmap through to launch and ongoing development.
About You
You will be someone with strong experience in digital content products , ideally with a background in publishing, editorial, or professional content strategy . You understand how to make content work for a defined audience and have the organisational and stakeholder skills to manage a product through to delivery.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in a digital product or content strategy role , preferably in publishing, B2B media, membership, or professional education.
- Proven ability to organise and structure digital content platforms for clarity, relevance, and accessibility.
- Experience developing editorial frameworks, contributor guidelines, or thematic content models.
- Strong stakeholder management skills — able to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Understanding of how digital content supports brand, engagement, and commercial goals.
- Familiarity with performance metrics and insight tools for digital content (e.g. engagement, readership, partner ROI).
- Exposure to digital delivery models or product development processes is desirable (Agile familiarity a plus, not required).
Additional Information
- Hybrid working (3 days per week in the central London office).
- Opportunity to lead a high-profile content product from the ground up.
- Excellent benefits package available, including holiday allowance, pension scheme, and healthcare options.
If you have experience working with digital content platforms, enjoy shaping audience-led products, and want to drive the launch of a strategic new publication, we’d love to hear from you.
