Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a CNC Team Leader working at a high-precision manufacturer based in Leeds, our client supply to a number of highly regulated industries.\\n\\nThe successful CNC Team Leader will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 3 to 5 axis CNC machines to manufacture high-spec components. The ideal candidate will have experience working within regulated environments and demonstrate strong attention to detail, particularly in quality control and documentation practices.\\n\\nCNC Team Leader Key Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Set up and operate 3 to 5 axis CNC milling or turning machines to produce precision-engineered parts\\n\\n * Manage a small team on shift\\n\\n * Interpret complex engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances\\n\\n * Adjust machine settings and tooling as needed to optimize performance and quality\\n\\n * Conduct in-process inspection and ensure all components meet strict quality standards\\n\\n * Maintain documentation for traceability, including job cards, inspection reports, and quality records\\n\\n * Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes\\n\\n * Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures\\n\\nCNC Team Leader Requirements:\\n\\n * Proven experience operating 3 to 5 axis CNC machines in a highly regulated industry, sliding head Citizen lathes / Miyano machines (preferred)\\n\\n * Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T principles\\n\\n * Familiarity with quality control procedures, measurement tools, and inspection techniques\\n\\n * Experience with documentation (non-conformance documents) and traceability systems is highly advantageous\\n\\n * A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement\\n\\nWorking hours:\\n\\n * Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm/ 2pm to 10pm, Friday 6am to 11.30am/ 11.30am to 5pm- rotating shifts\\n\\nRemuneration & benefits:\\n\\n· £40,000- £45,000\\n\\n· Overtime\\n\\n· Pension\\n\\n· Life assurance\\n\\n· Income protection\\n\\n· Health cash plan\\n\\n· Perk box\\n\\n· Bonus scheme\\n\\n· Company events\\n\\n· Cycle to work\\n\\n· Free flu jabs\\n\\n· Free onsite parking\\n\\n· Sick pay
