We are currently seeking a highly experienced and driven BIM CAD Technician to join our team. If you have the skills, leadership qualities, and dedication to excellence, we’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: As the BIM CAD Technician , your role will include: * Liaise with project managers and teams to ensure seamless coordination and continuity of workloads. * Implement and apply CAD & BIM standards across projects. * Create, edit, and develop 3D native models primarily using Revit, with experience in other Digital Delivery tools. * Produce CAD & BIM deliverables in compliance with relevant specifications and industry standards, such as BS EN ISO19650 [BIM Stage 2]. * Generate 3D geometrical data for use in clash detection, model validation, and stakeholder liaison workshops. * Support the CAD & BIM Team in delivering best practices for Digital Delivery tools. * Assist with the development and maintenance of Federated Models, including both geometric and non-geometric data. * Understand multiple BIM software formats (DWG, DGN, RVT, XML, IFC, NWF, etc.), their capabilities, and limitations. * Manage product data within a Common Data Environment (CDE). * Manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines. * Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. * Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to take responsibility for tasks. Experience: * 5+ years of experience in CAD and BIM design * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or extensive experience in digital design management. * Expertise in BIM software (such as Revit, Navisworks) and CAD tools (such as AutoCAD), with a strong understanding of clash detection and model coordination. * Previous experience within a construction organization. * Demonstrable examples of resolving 3D design issues. * Proficient in various software tools applicable to Red Group's operations. * Ability to maintain CAD & BIM standards relevant to the Building & Civil sectors. * Ability to audit and quality control the work of others. * Problem-solving skills to resolve CAD & BIM-related design issues. Skills: * Experience in working on BIM projects. * Proficiency in 3D modeling tools applicable to the relevant discipline. * Ability to manage information flow between different software in a project. * Experience in creating Revit parametric families. * Working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM Collaborate Pro. * Experience using Dynamo with Revit for task automation. * Knowledge of additional software tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
