Halo Recruit are partnering with one of Mansfield's leading autocentres to recruit for an experienced Workshop Receptionist to join their team based in the Mansfield, NG18 area. This role will be the first point of contact for both internal and external customers and stakeholders and is therefore integral to the service delivery of the operation. This is a permanent role, working directly for our Client. The day-to-day duties of the role are varied however will include: * Greeting customers in a courteous and efficient manner, in person, telephone, and email. * Taking customer orders by telephone, in person and via the Company’s digital booking system. * Monitoring progress of jobs to ensure promised delivery times are met. * Contacting customers for authorisation if additional work is necessary. * Maintaining reception area to a high standard, ensuring that the area always remains presentable. * To communicate with the Sales manager and mechanics when completion time will or will not be met and inform customer in good time. * Answering telephone enquiries to the business. * Producing invoices via the Company’s digital system, and taking payments from customers. * Scheduling safety checks, MOT’s and servicing. * Use of the Company's bespoke booking system. Person Specification * Must have previous administration and customer service experience. * Will ideally have experience in managing multiple diaries, and have used a digital scheduling system previously. * Be able to demonstrate high levels of customer awareness and maintain customer service requirements. * Candidates must have excellent organisational and time management skills. * Must be numerate, literate and be conversant with Microsoft Office packages. * Experience using Microsoft Excel & Outlook is essential. * Excellent communication skills. * Strongly IT literate. * Well presented. * Ability to work to deadlines. * Commitment, Self-awareness, and Assertiveness * Committed to providing high quality work. * Influencing and negotiation skills * Organised * Ability to assess tasks independently. Hours of Work Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4pm. Some Saturday cover will be required, up to 10 times a year, working 8am – 1pm Salary Up to £27k per annum, dependant on experience.
