Job Description:
Driver Provider UK are looking for HGV 2 / Class 2 drivers for ongoing work delivering multi-temperature goods on roll cages to various shops and petrol forecourts.
Job Role:
Deliver to the South East of the country (Colchester to Brighton)
Delivering high-value items such as cigarettes & alcohol.
Roll cages can weigh up to 400kgs
Average around 6 drops per trip.
Average 10-hour days, totaling 40 hours over 4 days (Mon, Tue, Weds & Sat)
Start times between 11:00 – 15:00
Week 1 – Monday to Friday
Week 2 – Tuesday to Saturday
Pay Rates (PAYE):
HGV 2 O/T Rate after 48 hours: £23.56
HGV 1 O/T Rate after 48 hours: £24.56
Candidates will need to be assessed (unpaid, approx. 2 hours)
Post-assessment, a paid structured training program lasting 7-10 days will be provided.
Driver Requirements:
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- CPC
- Digi
- Good communication skills
- Minimum 3 months UK HGV experience
