This is a fantastic opportunity to continue and develop your childcare career within this lovely, smaller setting, located in the coastal town of Formby Responsibilities for our Childcare Practitioner: * Work as part of a team to maintain a positive, safe and engaging environment whilst providing the highest level of care for all children * Support delivery of the curriculum, ensuring all children receive the best opportunities for learning and development * Support children's learning and development both indoors and outdoors with opportunities to explore, be active and be critical thinkers * Build excellent relationships with children, parents/carers and the staff team * Be an effective key person, maintaining accurate and effective observations * Promote nursery values and follow policies & procedures Essential Skills and Experience: * Dedicated and enthusiastic with a genuine passion to work with children * The ability to work as part of a team and to use own initiative * Good knowledge of the EYFS and relevant experience within an Early Years setting * Good knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection and the wider legislative requirements for working with children * A minimum level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification Location: Formby Schedule: Part-time hours
