Job Description

Blue Badge Fraud Investigator, Gloucestershire Pay rate £350 per day Contract role – 2 days per week Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Blue Badge Fraud Investigator in Gloucestershire – you will need to have experience in a similar role. We are seeking a Contractor to undertake Blue Badge Fraud (BBF) activities and investigation on behalf of the Council.  The Contractor is required to collect data on badges used in the County of Gloucestershire by undertaking spot checks and compliance visits, this includes the profile of the badge use such as times, days, weekends and location. The Contractor will analyse badges to find out if the person to whom the badge was issued is infirm/ in a home, deceased or lives in the local area. If the Contractor is identifying patterns of abuse or find lost or stolen badges, the Contractor will build a case and take appropriate action.   Furthermore, the Contractor will make efforts to eradicate the abuse of the entitlements to disabled people by the unauthorised use of blue badges. The Contractor will address the use of lost and stolen badges and carry out investigations to identify people using badges where the disabled person is in a different location. If misuse of a blue badge is identified then the Contractor will be responsible for preparing cases for prosecution in collaboration with the Council Legal Services Team and under the direction of the Council’s Parking Manager and Trading Standards Team. Please get in touch for more information.This is an agency post and Pertemps can offer you:-
