Residential Site Engineer Nottinghamshire| Salary – £45000 | Company Vehicle| Fuel CardCherry Professional are currently working with a market leading Civil Engineering and Building company. They are looking for a Residential Site Engineer to join their close knit and thriving team. This is a great opportunity to get involved in multiple and a wide variety of projects.The successful candidate must have excellent knowledge of Groundworks.Responsibilities:• Reading, interpretation and providing clear communication of construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements etc.• Ensuring that the setting• Amending and working to RAMS• Quality Assurance.• Managing the labour and putting men to work.• Providing progress reports• Managing materials and overseeing on site operations, providing precise lines, levels and reference points on site.• Effectively influencing the progress on sites and ensuring programme deadlines are met.• Developing effective relationships and dealing with clients and subcontractors.• Working closely with all other team members to ensure that the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety aspects of the work are adhered to during your project phase on site.• Continually developing your knowledge in the industry, communicating, and implementing best practice guidance to line managers and relevant team members.• Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS), policies and procedures.• To undertake any other duties as reasonably required.Ideal Candidate:• A degree in Construction Engineering and Management or equivalent.• 1-3 year’s previous experience.• Experience in residential builds would be advantageous.• Must be able to use their own initiative, taking accountability and responsibility for a project from start to finish.• Deadline driven, instilling motivation in the team to hit key targets.• Previous experience in managing labour & materials.• Previous Health & Safety responsibilities.• Numeracy and IT skills including MS Office, Word, and ExcelCherry Professional are recruiting on behalf of their clientRoles you may have applied for: Assistant Site Manager, Groundworks Engineer, Site Supervisor, Site Engineer, Residential Site Engineer or Setting Out EngineerCherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
