Job Description
Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Widnes – office working
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000
Yoh are working with a rapidly growing SME who are are working within renewables and battery storage and management systems. With growth globally, they are looking to add an IT project manager to help with the development and deployment of multiple SaaS based platforms and services.
This particular business has multiple offices within the Widnes area in the UK and would expect this IT Project Manager to be able to reliably commute to the office and work in a collaborative approach and liaising with other technical and engineering professionals.
This IT Project Manager will lead and oversee the delivery of internal IT and software development projects. The successful candidate will manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timely delivery, and measurable success
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full lifecycle of IT and software development projects, from scoping to post-delivery support
- Identify and resolve roadblocks and bottlenecks in a timely and collaborative manner
- Maintain project documentation including timelines, requirements, issues logs, and lessons learned
Skills and Experience needed to be successful:
- Proven experience in IT Project or Program Management (preferably in software or SaaS environments)
- Experience with data reporting, dashboard creation (e.g., Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar), and KPI monitoring
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack, Microsoft Office Suite
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications are a strong plus.
