Support client-facing brokers with administration and technical tasks in the insurance broking lifecycle at Marsh, a global leader in risk and insurance.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing support to Client Facing Brokers in all aspects of administration and technical support through accurate, efficient, and timely production of policies and related documentation.
- Completing a defined set of processes and tasks within the end-to-end insurance broking lifecycle, ensuring completion in line with agreed standards of time, accuracy, and productivity.
- Servicing NZ local businesses to meet growth targets and service standards.
- Assisting in all aspects of client service to key internal stakeholders.
- Delivering accurate, efficient, and timely administration and technical support, including insurance placement documentation, invoicing, updating computer records, and premium funding documentation.
- Developing effective working relationships with the internal broker network.
- Liaising with Underwriters on behalf of the broker network to gain exposure to the wider insurance industry.
- Actively supporting and collaborating with colleagues at all levels to achieve the best outcomes for clients and the company.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team.
- Comfort and experience working with technology solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel) or equivalent.
- Preferably, insurance knowledge.
- A university degree, diploma, or equivalent work experience is desirable.
- Graduate or administrator with 1-2 years previous insurance or financial services experience preferred.
- Appropriate approval to work in New Zealand.
- Willingness to complete a Criminal & Bankruptcy check prior to employment.
