Job Description
Job Title: Full Stack Engineer
Location: Widnes, on-site working.
Salary: up to £50,000 per annum + benefits
Yoh are working with a scaling business working within the renewables and energy sector looking to grow their technical team with the addition of a Full Stack Engineer to work on some of their app and SaaS products which are currently in development and deployment.
They are based in Widnes and would look for this engineer to be able to commute and commit to working onside like the wider engineering and technical team.
Within this position, the engineer will be hands on with their Smart Energy Systems and Battery energy smart storage (BESS) for their cloud based platform.
Key Responsibilities would include:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications for their cloud platform.
- Implement cloud infrastructure using GCP or AWS services
- Work closely with the hardware and firmware teams to integrate these Smart Energy Solutions
Technical Skills and Current Tech Stack:
- Languages: Python (OOP), JavaScript, & Bash for scripting
- Web Technologies: Angular, React, HTML, CSS, REST
- Databases: PostgreSQL
- Tools: Git, GitHub, Docker
- Cloud: AWS or GCP
** Experience with Hardware or Embedded Systems such as Microprocessors and Microcontrollers would be very advantageous **
