We’re growing! MRN Solicitors is seeking an experienced Costs Draftsperson to join our expanding Court of Protection Costs team!

Working with a broad and established client base, you will conduct work on a varied and broad mix of General Management and Application matters. If you have a strong background in Court of Protection costs and a passion for working on interesting matters, we would love to hear from you!

About the Role:

As part of the team, your responsibilities will include:

The preparation of detailed and short form Bills of Costs;
Providing advice to clients throughout the lifecycle of a matter;
Preparing Requests for Reassessment and appeals where necessary;
Preparing Final Cost Certificates.

What we are looking for:

We’re seeking someone with:

At least 2 years\’ experience in Court of Protection bill drafting;
Sound knowledge of Court of Protection procedures and SCCO practice and procedure;
Strong organisational skills and a proactive, learning mindset;
Experience in preparing Bills of Costs, Requests for Reconsideration, and associated advice;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Salary: Industry leading package in terms of salary and holidays, dependent on experience.
