Buyer / Senior Buyer – Beauty

Salary: Up to £55k DOE + Bonus + Benefits

Location: West Yorkshire – Hybrid working

An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s fastest-growing online beauty retailers. Known for offering salon-exclusive hair care and on-trend cosmetics, the company is trusted by a large and loyal customer base to deliver innovative beauty products straight to their door.

The business is now looking to appoint a Buyer to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in managing and expanding their brand portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and purchase a selection of beauty brands across the product portfolio.
• Negotiate promotions with suppliers to deliver exciting, value-driven offers to customers.
• Follow up on overdue orders and manage back-orders, coordinating with the warehouse to confirm delivery timelines.
• Monitor sales performance and respond to demand spikes by ensuring appropriate stock levels.
• Maintain accurate product data including creating new product codes and general stock file upkeep.
• Adhere to the monthly buying cycle, placing timely orders with suppliers.
• Analyse stock levels in relation to sales data to provide recommendations for replenishment or rationalization.
• Provide cross-functional support to other teams as needed, including duties beyond traditional buying responsibilities.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 3–5 years\’ experience in a buying role, ideally within the beauty sector.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
• Passionate about the beauty industry.
• Flexible and adaptable.
