Project Manager

Loretto School is one of Britain’s leading independent boarding and day schools located on the outskirts of Edinburgh and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Team.

You will work directly with the Head of Operations to manage a diverse range of projects within a portfolio, helping to ensure that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.You may be responsible for planning, executing, and closing some projects on your own, while working with a wide range of staff.

This is a 1 year fixed term, full-time contract (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday) and there may be some occasions when additional hours will be necessary for the completion of the duties of the position (paid or time off in lieu will be given).

You will:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a similar role in a multi-faceted environment with complex project management challenges and a track record of successful delivery
  • Budget management experience and delivering to deadlines
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to motivate others and foster collaboration to achieve project goals
  • Have the ability to manage a diverse workload through organising and prioritising tasks, managing your time effectively, and maintaining accurate project documentation
  • Have a “can-do” attitude, be proactive and have a positive approach to problem solving.

Salary will be determined by experience and aptitude for the role but is expected to be in the region of ÂŁ33-35K.
