Our client is a global business Travel Management Company (TMC) with people at the heart of everything that they do.

About the Role

They need a talented Learning & Development Trainer to develop current and future staff in line with business needs and individual aspirations. The primary objective of the Learning and Development Trainer is to manage the delivery of all training, ensuring consistency and knowledge sharing, and upholding high standards. You will be responsible for developing and delivering training sessions that align with business needs and drive the upskilling of operational teams across UK and EU locations.

In this role, you will take ownership of key projects while supporting the goal of making the operational teams the best in the business. This is a hands-on role, focused on continuous improvement and driving performance standards across the business. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a practical approach to tackling challenges. Occasional travel to other offices may be required to deliver training.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in the travel industry, ideally from a travel operational background.
  • Fully conversant with all operational working practices and technology.
  • Understanding of operations, BA 1/2 (or equivalent), and ATOC.
  • GDS experience is essential; Sabre/Amadeus knowledge is essential.

Required Skills

  • Confident, comfortable, and capable of delivering training to groups of all sizes.
  • Able to create engaging presentations and articulate them to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven ability to drive change and meet deadlines.
  • Extensive knowledge of end-to-end workflows (online and offline).

Location in the UK is flexible with some travel required.
