Quantity Surveyor – Bristol

Salary: Up to £55,000 – £70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

A leading 5* national housebuilder is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team based near Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable developer with a strong pipeline of residential projects across the South West. Role Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in managing all commercial and contractual aspects of residential developments. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Manager and wider delivery team to ensure projects are delivered to budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This position offers exposure to all stages of the build process and the opportunity to contribute to the success of large-scale, high-quality housing schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing project costs from tender through to final account
  • Preparing, negotiating, and analysing tenders and contracts
  • Subcontractor procurement and management
  • Producing accurate cost reports and forecasts
  • Ensuring financial and commercial control across live projects

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the residential or housebuilding sector
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
