The Opportunity
Our client is a well‑established, multi‑office law firm with an excellent reputation in the local and wider North West market. They offer high‑quality residential property work, a loyal client base, and a modern, forward‑thinking approach to how they support both clients and staff.
You will manage your own mixed residential caseload from instruction to completion, with strong administrative and technical support, realistic targets, and genuine input into how the department continues to grow. This role is available on a full‑time or part‑time, permanent basis.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Manage a busy, mixed residential caseload including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and new build matters.
- Handle files autonomously from instruction to post‑completion, with appropriate supervision where required.
- Take new client enquiries, provide clear initial advice, and convert leads into instructions.
- Draft and review contracts, correspondence and legal documents using the firm’s case management system.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, brokers, lenders and other solicitors to progress matters efficiently.
- Proactively manage key dates and deadlines, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and lender requirements.
- Contribute to business development, helping to maintain and grow referrer relationships and local networks.

Experience & Requirements
To be considered, you will need:
- Qualified or equivalent experience:Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) or experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner.
- Residential conveyancing experience:Typically 3+ years’ experience running your own residential conveyancing caseload.
- Technical skills:Strong experience across freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and ideally some new build exposure.
- Confident using case management systems and MS Office.
- Client care & communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, client‑focused approach.
- Proven ability to manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships.
- Teamwork & organisation:Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy department.
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- Business development mindset:A willingness to network, build connections and develop referrer relationships in the local area.
