Job Description
A client within the Public Sector based in County Durham is currently recruiting for a Construction Manager to join their Building Services team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a construction project delivery environment.The RoleKey purpose of the role is to oversee a variety of construction projects across the county ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to budget.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Managing new build housing schemes and refurbishment projects
- Coordinating multiple sites across the borough
- Overseeing site operations, resources, health & safety, and performance
- Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and ISO standards
- Programme planning, financial tracking, and reporting to senior management
The Candidate To be considered for this role you will require:
- A recognised qualification in Building/Construction or Management
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety
- SMSTS certification
