Job Description
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Jira Migration Manager to work for our client within the banking sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.
Our client is seeking a Jira Migration Manager to lead their dynamic team in both migrating an existing Atlassian Suite and resolving all issues experienced with ways of working post migration.
You’ll be leading a large scale Atlassian migration, with a focus on improving the test tools Jira, Confluence and any add-ons that may come into scope post migration.
Responsibilities as a Jira Migration Manager:
- Managing key progress check points for the Atlassian migration and ensuring this does not impact change delivery
- Communicating migration progress, risks and issues to key senior stakeholders
- Leading the way alongside senior Atlassian admins in ensuring the seamless migration from the current Cloud Instance to a new Group hosted Cloud instance (cloud to cloud migration)
- Supporting in building a new way of working post migration, including building in depth MI and reporting to support large scale change delivery
- Responsible for supporting all new ways of working post migration to ensure the continuation of change delivery
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a migration management
- Strong commercial Jira and Confluence experience, including administration functions and integration with add ons such as Scriptrunner, EazyBI, Xray etc.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and how the Atlassian Tool feature in change delivery
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised and capable communicator who can both manage and execute a technical Atlassian migration
- Communication and the ability to solve complex challenges will be a key part of the role
