Your new opportunity Quarriers Countryview is current recruiting 2x full time Intensive Support Practitioners to join our dedicated team who provide support to children and families in a short breaks/respite setting. The services offers children and young people with complex needs space where they can express themselves, have fun and feel supported in a safe and caring homely environment. As a skilled Practitioner you will provide support in a person centred way and ensure needs are being met for each person who love to visit time and time again. Duties will include, person care, cooking, taking part in activities and ensuring families who rely on the service are at ease while you care for their child, Working pattern: We are offering 2x full time permanent contracts working 37.5 hours per week. Flexibly is essential to support the service and needs of people. Shifts are 7.5 hours and include morning, evenings and weekends rotational basis Rota\’s are provided to staff in advance. What you will need to be considered Must hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) and HNC. (Please note having both is a requirement, if you do not hold both you must hold 1 and prepared to work towards achieving the other within an agree period) or equivalent. Knowledge and previous experience in a similar setting. Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written. Flexible and reliable. Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
