We\’re Hiring: Net Zero Project Go Officer

Location: Remote

Type: Fixed term to September 2026 | Full Time

Salary: Β£34,314 – Β£37,938 per annum

Role Overview

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Support the development and management of the Net Zero Go (NZG) platform. Click here for more details.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement and the collation and promotion of content.
  • Promote platform benefits to improve user engagement.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing to help local authorities in their journey to clean energy
  • The role holder will be part of the Greater South East Net Zero team, which is in the Place & Connectivity Directorate at CPCA.

What you\’ll be doing:

  • Promote platform benefits and user engagement.
  • Manage content to ensure relevance and accuracy.
  • Identify user needs and platform improvements.
  • Monitor contract KPIs and track project milestones.
  • Act as the main contact for regional hubs and end-users.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in energy, sustainability, or local government.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Technical and analytical skills, with the ability to solve problems and pre-empt issues
  • Experience in project coordination and digital content management.
  • Understanding of local authority net-zero goals and challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
