Job Description
Senior Website DeveloperDoncasterFull time, Permanent. £35,000 – £45,000 DOE.Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
- Are you a seasoned PHP developer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience?
- The ideal candidate will be passionate about coding business systems and/or websites whilst solving challenges and delivering great results for clients. You are likely to be self-managed, with an open mind, with an ability to manage a junior developer.

This is a senior role. The following skills are mandatory:
- An understanding and ability to write code without being reliant on frameworks and libraries
- PHP, MySQL and Symfony
- Ability to manage a junior developer
- Comprehensive testing process and an eye for detail
- Experience in setting up payment processors e.g. Stripe, PayPal, Sage, WorldPay
- Experience of working with 3rd party integrations, being able to write custom integrations if required
- Experience using Git
- Awareness of SEO and the importance of semantic HTML elements
- Experience with Hosting platforms such as cPanel/Plesk
- Hosting – Ability to set up and manage Dedicated Servers/VPS hosting packages,
- Understanding of Domain Names, renewals, migrations etc.
- Ability to manage DNS
- Knowledge of Marketing/Analytics tools – Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager – setting tracking events, conversions etc.
