Morson are working with an aerospace manufacturer based in Portsmouth who are looking for a Mechanical Inspector on a 6 month Fixed term contract. The position is working standard days and also has every other friday off. Description of the role Work with a team of Quality Inspectors to verify product against engineering drawings, technical specifications and detailed quality criteria to international aerospace standards Key Responsibilities Support a fast-paced work environment at various stages of build with the inspection of sub assembly and major products ensuring conformity and customer satisfaction. Mandatory Requirement The successful applicant will be able to interpret engineering drawings and written criteria, applying the requirements to verify product using various types of measuring equipment. The ability to communicate effectively with other functions of the business, written and verbally is essential. The candidate will have previous experience within the aerospace manufacturing industry and a good understanding of the Quality function within. Experiecen and Skills An understanding of AS9100, AS9102, CAA Part 21G.
