What you will do
We’re hiring a Trainee Field Service Technician to install our sensor technology across the UK. This role requires the successful candidate to cover the Yorkshire region, ideally based in or near Leeds. You’ll work primarily on customer sites, including weekends and varied hours. If you’re tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator, this is your opportunity to grow with us.
How you will do it
· Assist with sensor installations and testing
· Create Excel tables with sensor data
· Review floor plans to determine equipment needs
· Prepare and install hardware
· Fully test systems on-site
· Document all work
· Learn and grow toward a Field Service Technician role
What we look for
Required
· Valid Driver’s License.
· Happy to work offsite 80% of the time (most working hours are spent travelling and at customer premises installing)
· Flexibility with working hours (shifts can start early morning or late afternoon)
· Computer literate with experience in using excel spreadsheets.
· Strong time management and organization skills.
· Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
· Physical capability to install sensors and hardware – bending and crawling under desks for prolonged periods of time.
