Blue Yonder WMS Discrete Application Consultant. ( BY WMS Optimisation and Configuration) We need a contract Blue Yonder Discrete Warehouse Management Consultant to be the client\’s SME on Blue Yonder (BY WMS) Discrete while they upgrade and optimise the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Discrete system. Working with the end clients\’ stakeholders and external third parties, you will need to have in-depth experience in the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management system (BY WMS) to be able to assist the end client in post implementation, configuration, troubleshooting and optimisation of the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management system. You will also liaise with implementation partners to make sure the ongoing work is done correctly. Title: Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Discrete Consultant. (BY WMS) Start Date: 2/1/25. Duration. 3 months + renewals Location: Hybrid 3 days a week in the client office in Worcestershire, the rest remote. Rate: Negotiable c£450 – £600 per day, subject to experience. Duties : Design and configure Blue Yonder WMS Discrete solutions to optimise warehouse operations and meet client expectations. Customise and enhance Blue Yonder WMS Discrete functionalities through configuration, scripting, and integration with other systems. Create BY WMS routines tailored to business requirements, enhancing automation and efficiency. Resolve defects, production support issues, ensuring smooth operations and minimise business disruptions. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions. Review BY WMS set up to high-quality standards and best practices. Assist in upgrade Skills . You will need hands on in-depth, proven experience in the Blue Yonder Discrete Warehouse Management suite and have worked, for example, as either a Functional Consultant, BY WMS Application support, Blue Yonder Administration, (or a BY Solutions Architect) within Blue Yonder product set, able to troubleshoot, optimise and configure Blue Yonder to the end clients\’ plans. You need good communication skills, stakeholder management, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work with external suppliers to ensure the work is carried out correctly and on time.
