Your new company We have an amazing senior bookkeeper position available with a leading manufacturing business in Chesterfield. Office based – M-F8am – 4pm (Early finish Friday) ASAP Start Your new role You will ensure the accurate and timely completion of all month-end accounts, including the profit and loss statement and balance sheet. The successful candidate will oversee the sales ledger, purchase ledger, and cashbook, and process bank payments and bank reconciliations. You will prepare timesheet data for the monthly payroll and review and submit statutory returns, such as VAT and tax, as well as agree intercompany balances with relevant counterparts within the group. In this role, you will also manage all forecast and budget submissions and liaise with external auditors.This is a stand-alone role within the Chesterfield site, but you will work closely with the finance team within the wider group.
