Location: Ipswich IP6 0SL
Salary: £18.00 per Hour days overtime after 10 hours
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Our Client is a family-owned Waste & Recycling business based in Great Blakenham, just 5 miles from Ipswich.
Job Overview:
They are recruiting for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to support their growing customer base. This is a hands-on role, with day-to-day duties including:

Bulk collections of baled and loose waste using walking floor trailers

Performing daily vehicle inspections and defect reporting

Ensuring compliance with tachograph legislation & WTD

Maintaining health & safety standards

Completing digital documentation using tablet devices (training provided)

Delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers

Keeping your vehicle clean and presentable
Requirements:

Valid Class 1 HGV Licence (C+E)

Valid Driver CPC and Tacho Card

Max 6 points (No DD, DR, or IN convictions)

Fluent in English

Minimum 1 years experience driving Class 1 vehicles

Comfortable with early starts (from 04:30) and flexible finish times (up to 18:30)
