About This Role
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a new Kitchen Designer to join our driven and enthusiastic team. Our designers are interior and kitchen specialists who use their in-depth product and technical knowledge to create exciting designs for kitchens, bedrooms, and all rooms in between.
Designing a kitchen is like throwing a party; you want to create the mood, get the ingredients right, ensure a flow of people, and provide space to dine, drink, and dance. Our designers consider how the space will be used and by whom. Whether it\’s the dream of a reluctant gourmet, a budding chef, or a hungry family of four, we design to meet these diverse needs.
Responsibilities Include
- Arrange in-store consultations and home visits to understand all requirements
- Create, present, and exchange ideas on innovative design schemes
- Inspire, excite, and support our customers from design concept to installation or delivery
- Update and maintain accurate customer records using various software packages
- Manage multiple projects ensuring seamless communication and coordination
- Actively contribute to the growth and development of the store
Our stores are open 7 days a week, so flexibility to work during weekdays and weekends is essential.
You should ideally have a design-related qualification and a passion for interiors. Confidence in using design software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required. Exceptional communication and organizational skills, a proactive attitude, a detail-oriented mindset, and a flair for creativity are also necessary. A full UK driving license and the ability to travel to customers\’ homes are required.
