We are seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join our friendly staff team and assist with the development of our branch.
Our MOT Tester positions are dedicated roles that play a crucial part within our branches. By conducting MOT testing to DVSA standards on various vehicle types, our MOT Testers help meet customer needs and work closely with the staff team to ensure an efficient workshop flow. If you hold a current DVSA card, enjoy working as part of a team, and take pride in your work, please submit your CV at your earliest convenience.
You will carry out MOTs in accordance with DVSA guidelines, test and diagnose faults, and provide written reports on component defects or systems with impending failure. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential.
Only MOT Testers with appropriate qualifications and experience should apply. We offer excellent earning potential, a good bonus scheme, and good working practices.
The MOT Tester is required to:
- Conduct MOTs in line with DVSA guidelines and adhere to company policies.
- Ensure all MOTs are carried out according to DVSA standards to ensure compliance.
- Observe safe working practices for yourself and others.
Hours: 48 per week (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday; 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturday)
- Potential for up to 44 days paid leave (including bank holidays)
