Were looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Basildon. If you\’re committed to high standards of service, safe driving, and being part of a supportive logistics operation wed love to hear from you.
Location:
Based from our Basildon depot, covering London and the Southeast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles for collections and deliveries
- Groupage, multi-drop, and pick-up services
- Operate tail lift and perform manual handling when needed (kerbside deliveries)
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
- Keep accurate records: tachos, time sheets, trip sheets, and receipts
- Deliver to a key client in E16 daily
Working Hours:
- Core warehouse hours: 06:0020:00
- Flexible start times depending on workload
- Weekly hours aligned with legal driving hours and the Working Time Directive
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC qualification and Tacho card
- Familiarity with London and Southeast delivery routes
- Ability to handle physical tasks including loading, strapping, and using tail lifts
- A flexible, team-oriented approach
