Are you ready to lead quality and food safety to the next level? We’re searching for a Technical Manager with bold ideas and a passion for best-in-class standards to lead our client\’s high-performing team.
This is your chance to shape the future of food safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while playing a key role in supplying safe, delicious, and innovative products to the UK’s leading retailers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the site’s technical and compliance strategy, overseeing HACCP, TACCP & VACCP systems and maintaining audit-ready standards at all times.
- Ensure full compliance with BRCGS standards and the technical codes of practice for major UK retailers.
- Manage and inspire a multi-functional team across Quality Assurance, Hygiene, and Technical, fostering a proactive food safety culture.
- Own and oversee allergen management, microbiological testing, label and pack compliance, and traceability systems.
- Be the site lead for all third-party, customer, and regulatory audits, always ensuring exemplary readiness and continuous improvement post-audit.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, NPD, Procurement, and Commercial teams to ensure technical alignment from concept to consumer.
- Drive innovation by implementing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, reduce risk, and improve efficiency.
- Be a visible technical ambassador for the site—communicating clearly with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to uphold trust and integrity.
