Job Description

Programme Manager – Oracle ERP & Cost Transformation

Location: Reading (2–3 days onsite)

Industry: Utilities / Distribution

Engagement: Inside IR35

We are hiring a Programme Manager to lead a complex business and technology transformation focused on Oracle ERP, financial systems, and regulatory reporting.

This role will take ownership of a multi-stream programme involving integrated cost structures, process redesign, and automation of reporting across Oracle ERP, Primavera Unifier, and cloud data platforms.

Programme highlights include:

  • Implementing an Integrated Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) to improve transparency and reporting.
  • Launching a central Cost Book with historical and target costs to support forecasting accuracy.
  • Driving automation of Regulatory Reporting Packs (RRP) via Azure and Power BI.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery across Oracle ERP, cost management, and regulatory reporting.
  • Drive business process change aligned with financial and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including finance, tech, and delivery partners.
  • Ensure robust governance, risk control, and delivery against business case benefits.
  • Lead change impact assessments, business readiness, and stakeholder engagement.

Ideal experience:

  • Extensive experience managing Oracle ERP (preferably Oracle Fusion Cloud) transformations.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management frameworks (CBS, forecasting, reporting).
  • Experience in highly regulated industries and large-scale programme environments.
  • Skilled in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
