Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Walsall, to provide one-on-one support for a Year 5 pupil with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The ideal candidate will have a nurturing, caring nature, with a commitment to helping children achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide tailored support to a Year 5 pupil with SEMH needs.
· Assist with both academic and emotional support throughout the school day.
· Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement personalised learning strategies.
· Create a positive, supportive, and safe learning environment.
· Encourage social skills and positive behaviour both inside and outside the classroom.
· Support the pupil in developing self-regulation and confidence in their learning.
Ideal Candidate:
· Experience working with children, preferably those with SEMH or additional needs.
