Overview
HGV 2 Driver – Raunds (Wellingborough)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver for temp to perm roles in our depot in Raunds (Wellingborough). The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores. 8 – 15 drops per day, with tail lift and cages. Immediate starts for successful candidates.
Shifts
Shifts patterns available
- Friday – Tuesday 03:30am start
Pay
Day pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £15.83 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.81)
- Saturday £17.81
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.75
Nights pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £18.09 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.35)
- Saturday £20.35
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.14
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
What we are looking for
- In date DIGI and CPC card
- Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
- Willing to work weekends.
- Motivated and open to learn new skills.
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
Your role
- Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
- Prepping vehicles for delivery.
- Completing vehicles checks.
- Refuelling vehicles.
- The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
