Investments Internship – 4 Week Placement
Calling all interns! Are you looking to boost your career prospects after University and are looking for an internship to do so? AJ Bell is an award-winning business in the financial services industry, and we could have just the opportunity for you!
Based in Exchange Quay, Manchester we are one of the largest providers of online investment platforms and stockbroker services in the UK, with assets under administration exceeding £86.5 billion and more than 542,000 clients.
The role:
Working within the Investments team, the role of the interns will be to work on a project that will deliver unique market insight and value for AJ Bell. A real-world project that you will be able to point a future employer to and say "I worked on that".
This year’s intake is aimed at business, finance, economics, and investments students, together with other quantitative practices. Students from other disciplines are more than welcome and we have a track record of hiring from social science and life science subjects when creating our diverse teams.
You will work closely with senior members of our Investments team as well as gaining exposure to leaders from the wider business. The ability to handle, manipulate, analyse, and present large data sources will be required, as well as producing qualitative analysis using evidence-based arguments. We do not expect any one person to possess all these skills – we are seeking to build a team and we’d love to see your application.
This is paid programme for four weeks, running from our Manchester office.
The closing date for applications is Friday 14th February.
Must be able to attend an assessment centre on one of the following dates: Friday 7 March or Monday 10 March.
Dates of the internship – 14 July – 8 August (4 weeks) based in our Manchester office. Must be able to attend these dates for the full duration.
