Graduate Teachers needed in Northampton Location: Northampton Pay: £90 – £130 per day Contract: Full time / Part time Start: As soon as possible 2025 Apply for an exciting opportunity to train as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary School environment in Northampton. Join our dedicated team and inspire and teach the next generation with your passion for supporting Children and young people. As a Cover Supervisor you will be responsible for leading lessons of approximately 25 pupils in the absence of the class teacher. You will cover classes across the full range of secondary school subjects, but don’t worry, you are not expected to be a subject specialist in each area. The lesson will always be planned, and this will be provided in advance. It is your role as the Cover Supervisor to facilitate the classes learning, manage classroom behaviour, record accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher. Successful Cover Supervisors are adaptable, flexible, motivated, confident and organised, they have a passion for education and supporting young people. Requirements: Availability for standard working hours: 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Prior experience working in schools would be great Strong communication and classroom management skills.
