Based in Bedford, you will be joining a well-known high-class machinery manufacturing business.
Due to continuous expansion, the company is now looking for an experienced Mechanical Electrical Service Engineer to join their Service department. Offering a very competitive and negotiable salary depending on experience and skill level, mixed with a range of benefits and huge earning potential, this is a great time for an accomplished Service Engineer to join their team.
The successful candidate will carry out a mix of duties from installation, commissioning, service, maintenance, upgrades and more on a range of machinery both across the UK and globally.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Provide technical support and advice to customers
- Support operators and maintenance teams on machine processes and operations across different industries
- Completion of post-work documentation and service reports

Skills and Experience required:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a field service capacity
- Ability to diagnose faults and repair mechanical and electrical industrial machinery
- Software/PLC experience and knowledge would be highly desirable.
- Strong customer service and technical support skills
- Open and willing to travel daily and stay away for periods at a time, both UK-based and globally.
