Due to our continued desire and ability to build more affordable homes and develop our established communities; Great Places Housing Group is looking to recruit a Senior Housing Officers (we call these Neighbourhood Service Managers) to work in their own dedicated patch in Cheshire. With support from your Area Services Manager, you will be the Great Places main point of contact for our customers, colleagues and partners; working within your own local patch of 250-300 homes.
Our Senior Housing Officers deliver high quality housing and estate management to our valued customers, supporting our commitment to sustainable neighbourhoods whilst promoting integrity, inclusivity and respect for diversity within our communities. We take an agile approach to work, so you will spend your time working with customers on your patch, with colleagues at your local Great Places office and from your home.
The main duties of the role are to:
- Ensure rent is collected and customers are supported to reduce any arrears
- Allocate vacant properties to new customers
- Investigate incidents of anti-social behaviour, support victims and take proportionate tenancy enforcement action when needed
- Understand your customers individual needs and make relevant links with support organisations
- Build strong relationships with local stakeholders and partners
