Orion Building Engineering Services Ltd have a fantastic opportunity to add to our expanding team of experienced AC Engineers covering Hertfordshire, Ipswich and Cambridgeshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible forcarrying out maintenance/ service including fault finding/diagnosis and repairs on equipment including VRF\’s, split type air conditioning and refrigeration plant.
Other aspects of the job will involve the installation of new equipment, testing and commissioning with agreed programmes.
The completion of commissioning certificates along with the distribution and safe keeping of materials on site ensuring that any defects / shortfalls are notified.
You will provide technical advice where required to clients while on site.
Duties
- Conduct routine planned maintenance and service requirements working under own initiative to locate and diagnose faults and concerns.
- Demonstrate familiarity with F-Gas requirements.
- Test AC installations, in line with the current F-Gas requirements and record the results of such tests on electronic system.
- Repair and / or replace faculty AC installations, such as leaks, controls etc and assess parts needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial AC systems, and ensure installations are to current regulations
Requirements
- Experience as an AC Engineer At least 3 years in a relevant AC role, post qualification.
- A completed F-Gas qualification to C&G 2079 (Essential)
- NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Essential)
- Conversant with Current F -Gas Regulations (Essential)
- Good level of computer skills, ability to use PDA/Compliance system for reporting.
- Clean UK Driving License.
- Clean DBS Record.
BenefitsSalary £42000.00 – £48000.00 (depending on experience). In addition to your basic salary there are significant opportunities to earn overtime which is readily available.40 hours per week – Monday to Friday.24 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.
